A dual extract tincture is when a hot water extract and an alcohol extract have been combined to make the tincture. This process is important because:~ Alcohol extraction draws out certain medicinal compounds, mainly the ones that are fat-soluble as well as triterpines. This process takes 6 to 8 weeks.~ Hot water extraction draws out different medicinal compounds, primarily beta-glucans. This is about a 48 hour process. The dual extraction process is critical to produce the most potent, bioavailable and well rounded medicinal profile in a tincture. This is what we’re all about at Evolution Ranch.
